From Guanajuato, it will take approximately 1hr 30 mins to reach the destinations in the south. The region is well served by federal highway 45, which runs through the industrial corridor in the center of the state. The south is, in contrast, rural and natural, with the oldest prehispanic populations and a lasting impression from prehispanic cultures.
